Collection of the Artist

My two German Wirehair Pointers are a constant source of inspiration for my life as well as my painting.  The center of my husband's and my universe, they are clownish and adoring, providing our daily requirements for laughter, entertainment, companionship and love.  Any painting I begin with one of my dogs as the subject is jump-started inspirationally by my emotional connection and deep fondness that I feel.  This watercolor sketch is of Zeke, as he hams it up on the hardwood floor on a light-filled afternoon, as our godchild, Summer, dances in the background.
