This is a collage done from a still life in my studio. I first created the texture by gluing pieces of things like corrugated board, cheesecloth, and botanical papers on plain watercolor paper. I then tore up pieces of other papers, like tissue paper and rice paper, colored with acrylic and watercolor paint, and glued them over the texture to create a rich collage of texture and color.
