Two separate experiences inspired me to do this painting. The first was viewing an incredible sunset as I drove home from work one day. I couldn't get it out of my mind. The second was hearing coyotes calling from close by while my husband and I sat in our outdoor hot tub at dusk. I pictured the coyotes in the sunset scene, near a mountain like the one I live on. This painting was the result.
